Job title: Java Developer
Stakelogic is looking for a Java Back-end Developer to join our backend development team. We are developing a new high-load platform for launching Live Casino games, combining streaming video solutions with real-time interactive features. You will work on a platform built using a microservice, event-driven architecture, contributing to the development and maintenance of scalable Live Casino components and supporting the continued growth of our technology platform.
Essential Duties
- Develop and maintain high-load Live Casino components using Java and related technologies and frameworks such as Spring.
- Follow engineering best practices, including cross-code reviews and unit testing.
- Design and develop improvements to the system architecture.
- Design and implement microservices.
- Develop custom integrations with casino providers.
- Participate in and conduct code reviews.
- Maintain and support existing microservices.
- Analyse requirements and estimate the implementation of new features.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with Java. All current projects use Java 21+.
- 2+ years of experience with the Spring Framework.
- 2+ years of experience with Kafka.
- 1+ year of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- 1+ year of experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database engine.
- Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher.
- Strong knowledge of commonly used algorithms, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.

- Experience within the iGaming industry.
- Experience with Redis.
- Experience with WebSockets.
- Experience with ClickHouse.
- Experience with Hibernate.
- Experience with Bash scripting.
- Experience with reactive programming.
- Experience with Event Sourcing and event-driven architectures.
