About the Role We are Babel, a multinational company with a Casablanca office in Morocco, and we’re expanding our tech team. We’re looking for a Java Developer to join our Casablanca site. The essential requirement is Spanish language proficiency to communicate with our colleagues in Spain. The role may offer either an internship or a permanent contract depending on experience. What You'll Do
- Develop new features for one main website
- Improve and optimize existing code
- Implement technical best practices and fix bugs
- Collaborate with the team to deliver digital transformation projects
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous learning What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or student status in IEP
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of AI
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Passion for continuous learning and adopting new technologies
- Knowledge of databases and web/mobile development frameworks
- Proactive, reliable, and responsive
- Good English; high level of Spanish (indispensable) Nice to Have
- Experience in a multinational environment or internships/entry-level roles related to the profile
