About this role
You will join a small, close-knit team responsible for the technical and functional support of the applications that enable the management of our building facilities. These applications are a key element of Belfius' IWMS (Integrated Workplace Management System) landscape. The team manages both the IWMS software package and its ecosystem, ensuring that stable, efficient and sustainable solutions are provided in close collaboration with the various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the functional and technical analyses of new and existing applications.
- Interact with internal clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and processes.
- Actively participate in meetings dedicated to business processes and proposed solutions.
- Translate business needs into realistic and compliant technical solutions, in collaboration with analysts and architects.
- Develop and maintain applications within the IWMS ecosystem.
- Work primarily with C# and Java, and be willing to program in both languages.
- Be prepared to learn new programming languages, technologies or platforms as required by future application choices.
- Develop APIs, scripts and integrations with internal and external systems.
- Work on projects or sub-projects assigned to you, independently when needed.
- Align solutions with analysts, architects and other IT partners.
- Submit and track requests for firewalls, network flows, and technical approvals.
- Consider architecture, security, compliance and DPO guidelines in your work.
- Follow Belfius processes for development, testing, and MTO (Make-To-Order) workflows.
Requirements
- Experience or focus on development within an IWMS or similar enterprise software ecosystem.
- Proficiency in C# and Java, with willingness to work in both languages.
- Ability to interact with internal clients and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Capacity to work independently on assigned projects and to collaborate with analysts, architects and IT partners.
- Comfort with API development, scripting, and integrating with internal and external systems.
- Openness to learning new technologies, languages, or platforms as needed.
- Awareness of architecture, security, compliance and data privacy considerations in enterprise environments.
