Job title: IVS Sales Engineer
Join Nilfisk as an IVS Sales Engineer in Hungary to bridge technical vacuum and filtration innovations with customer challenges. You’ll lead long-cycle, consultative sales, assess production environments on site, and collaborate with our global IVS Competence Center to deliver tailored solutions, with travel including regular visits to the IVS Competence Center in Zocca, Italy. Nilfisk emphasizes long-term talent development and continuous learning in industrial vacuum solutions.
What You'll Do
- Visit industrial sites to assess production environments and design the right vacuum/filtration setup
- Own the sales lifecycle: from lead generation and site surveys to proposal development, negotiation, and closing
- Provide technical consultancy in close partnership with our global IVS Competence Center and internal stakeholders
- Oversee solution implementation, including training, site acceptance, and after-sales support
- Manage customer relationships with operations and production managers, and occasionally purchasing
- Ensure accurate CRM tracking and project reporting
- Proactively support strategic growth of the IVS segment across your region
- Travel frequently as part of the role, including visits to Zocca, Italy
What We're Looking For
- Solid experience in industrial equipment sales or technical B2B consultancy
- Previous experience in OEM, vacuum systems, dust extraction, or similar technology is a plus
- Technical education (diploma or higher), or equivalent experience
- Fluent in English and Hungarian
- Proficient with CRM tools like Salesforce
- Comfortable navigating long consultative sales cycles (6–12 months)
- Willing and able to travel frequently across the assigned region
- Based in Hungary or able to operate from Hungary
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with compressors, dust extractors, or other heavy-duty solutions in B2B
- Experience in OEM, vacuum systems, dust extraction or related technology
