About the Role Join EY's International Tax and Transactions Services - Business / Corporate practice as an ITTS Manager. You’ll lead and contribute to engagements addressing complex domestic corporate tax issues for multinational clients, delivering innovative planning ideas and value-creating solutions. This role focuses on helping clients unlock value while maintaining client relationships and confidentiality.
What You'll Do
- Participate in and supervise multiple challenging tax engagements; deliver innovative planning ideas and solutions for diverse clients.
- Provide timely, high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations.
- Coach and mentor junior staff; ensure accurate and complete work.
- Stay up to date on tax trends, legislation, and tax authority decisions, applying them to complex client situations.
- Identify opportunities for tax planning and other special services.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality of client relationships and work products.
- Thoroughly analyze information and contribute to team goals.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to provide tax planning and other special services.
What We're Looking For
- BCom Honours degree (preferably in accounting/accounting sciences); completed or in progress higher diploma/master’s degree in taxation favourable.
- Minimum 5 years South African corporate tax experience; Big 4 firm experience preferable.
- Excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership ability.
- Commitment to learning in a tax technology environment.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines; process oriented; excellent documentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Mature, proactive, committed, highly motivated and a team player.
