ITS Engineer
About this role
Job Description The ITS Engineer role is critical to the successful design, implementation, integration, and ongoing operation of roadway technology systems across the LBJ, NTE, and NTE 35W corridors. This position ensures that Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Toll Collection Systems (TCS), network communications, and related field systems are designed, implemented, tested, and transitioned to operations in compliance with the Comprehensive Development Agreement (CDA). The ITS Engineer coordinates internal stakeholders and external contractors to deliver technical solutions on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with operational and performance requirements.

- Serve as technical project coordinator for ITS and Field Systems projects from design through operations handover.
