About the Role

Step into a rare opportunity to shape a site from the ground up. As the Senior Automation Engineer / ITOT specialist (m/f/d) in Huningue, you will play a pivotal role in building and enabling Novartis’ new Radioligand Therapy manufacturing site, acting as the first on-site ITOT presence in France. This role goes beyond day-to-day operations: you will partner closely with site leadership, engineering, and external suppliers to deliver critical capital projects, establish compliant information technology and operational technology systems, and support validation activities in a highly regulated environment. About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the on-site information technology and operational technology lead supporting the build-out of the Huningue manufacturing site
  • Coordinate suppliers and partners across information technology and operational technology during construction, installation, and commissioning phases
  • Lead validation and testing activities, ensuring traceability between user requirements, specifications, and compliant system delivery
  • Partner with site leadership and engineering teams to deliver capital projects on time, within scope, and to quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with security, quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across all ITOT activities
  • Support transition from project execution into stable operations, enabling reliable day-to-day site performance
  • Communicate progress, risks, and priorities clearly to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Essential requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, computer science, or a closely related discipline
  • At least five years of experience in information technology or operational technology roles within regulated industries
  • Proven experience supporting site build, capital projects, or system implementation in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of validation, testing, and compliance requirements within good manufacturing practice environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead stakeholders, manage suppliers, and influence without direct authority
  • Fluency in English and French, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical or automotive environments with exposure to system validation activities

Desirable requirements:

  • Knowledge of automated production environments and industrial systems (SCADA, MES, PLC, Historian, industrial networks, etc.) is considered an asset

  • Principales responsabilités

  • Agir en tant que référent IT/OT sur site pour accompagner la construction et le déploiement des infrastructures du site de production de Huningue.

  • Coordonner les fournisseurs et partenaires intervenant sur les systèmes informatiques (IT) et industriels (OT) durant les phases de construction, d’installation et de mise en service.

  • Piloter les activités de validation et de tests en garantissant la traçabilité entre les exigences utilisateurs, les spécifications et la livraison de systèmes conformes.

  • Collaborer étroitement avec la direction du site et les équipes d’ingénierie afin de livrer les projets d’investissement dans les délais, le périmètre défini et selon les standards qualité attendus.

  • Veiller au respect des exigences de sécurité, de qualité, de santé, de sécurité au travail et d’environnement dans l’ensemble des activités IT/OT.

  • Accompagner la transition entre les phases projet et les opérations courantes afin d’assurer une exploitation fiable et pérenne du site.

  • Communiquer de manière claire et proactive l’avancement des projets, les risques et les priorités aux parties prenantes, y compris aux équipes de direction et aux équipes transverses.

  • Exigences essentielles

  • Diplôme de niveau Bac+5 (ou équivalent) en ingénierie, informatique, technologies de l’information ou discipline connexe.

  • Au moins 5 années d’expérience dans des fonctions IT ou OT au sein d’industries réglementées.

  • Expérience démontrée dans la construction de sites industriels, la réalisation de projets d’investissement ou le déploiement de systèmes en environnement de production.

  • Bonne maîtrise des exigences de validation, de tests et de conformité dans un environnement soumis aux Bonnes Pratiques de Fabrication (BPF/GMP).

  • Capacité démontrée à coordonner les parties prenantes, gérer les fournisseurs et influencer les décisions sans autorité hiérarchique directe.

  • Maîtrise professionnelle du français et de l’anglais, avec d’excellentes compétences en communication et en gestion des parties prenantes.

  • Expérience dans les secteurs pharmaceutique ou automobile, avec une exposition aux activités de validation des systèmes informatisés.

  • Exigences souhaitées

  • Connaissance des environnements de production automatisés et des systèmes industriels (SCADA, MES, PLC, Historian, réseaux industriels, etc.) constitue un atout.
