About the Role
We are seeking a Design Researcher to help uncover user needs, behaviors, motivations, and pain points and translate those findings into actionable insights.
In this role, you’ll conduct user research studies, synthesize qualitative and quantitative findings, and partner closely with designers and other cross-functional stakeholders to help inform product and design decisions. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a foundation in user research and wants to continue developing their skills while contributing to meaningful customer and user experiences.
What You’ll Do
-
Plan and conduct generative and evaluative user research studies.
-
Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to better understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.
-
Analyze research findings and turn observations into clear insights, narratives, and actionable recommendations.
-
Partner with designers and cross-functional stakeholders to incorporate research into design decisions and strategies.
-
Use research tools such as SurveyMonkey, MAXQDA, Morae, or similar platforms to document and analyze findings.
-
Build on existing research to identify opportunities to improve user experiences.
-
Adapt research plans and deliverables as business priorities, project needs, and timelines evolve.
-
Continue developing expertise in design research methods, industry trends, and relevant business and technical domains.
-
What We’re Looking For
-
Experience conducting user research studies, including generative and/or evaluative research.
-
Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
-
Ability to synthesize research findings into concise, meaningful recommendations for design and business stakeholders.
-
Familiarity with user research and analysis tools such as SurveyMonkey, MAXQDA, Morae, or comparable tools.
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills.
-
Ability to work effectively within cross-disciplinary design teams.
-
Curiosity and motivation to develop deeper business, technical, and domain knowledge.
-
Comfortable working in an environment where priorities and timelines may shift.
-
What Will Make You Successful
-
You’re naturally curious about how people think and behave, enjoy turning research into insights that others can act on, and work well with designers and business partners. You’re also eager to continue building your research expertise and use what you learn to influence better experiences and design decisions.
