About the Role Join Siemens Energy Austria as an IT Support Specialist in a dynamic IT environment. You will provide hands-on 1st and 2nd level user support, maintain local infrastructure, and contribute to IT operations improvements, while helping roll out local IT initiatives. What You'll Do

  • Deliver 1st and 2nd level support for hardware and software issues, ensuring fast and reliable solutions for end-users.
  • Analyze incidents, manage tickets (e.g., ServiceNow), and maintain clear communication with users throughout the resolution process.
  • Handle installation, configuration, and upgrades of workstations, software, and peripherals in line with company standards.
  • Identify and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN, VPN), collaborating with specialized teams when needed.
  • Oversee local IT asset inventory and support the lifecycle management of hardware and software.
  • Contribute to the rollout of centrally driven IT projects and create practical documentation, user guides, and improvement suggestions. What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field – or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Several years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on complex technical issues.
  • Fluent German and solid English skills for daily communication in an international environment.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and structured IT service processes.
  • A proactive, service-oriented mindset combined with strong collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders. Compensation & Benefits
