Job title: IT-Security Specialist (m/w/d)
About the Role You will implement, document, and continuously monitor cybersecurity measures with a focus on endpoint and network security in a highly protected environment. You will contribute to holistic security concepts aligned with relevant norms and laws (BSI Grundschutz, ISO 27001, GeschGehV, NIS2) and support IT security projects. You will identify potential attack scenarios, particularly by analyzing email traffic and detecting malicious web links and attachments.
What You'll Do
- Implement, document, and continuously monitor endpoint- and network-security measures in a secure environment.
- Contribute to holistic security concepts considering standards and laws such as BSI Grundschutz, ISO 27001, GeschGehV, and NIS2; support IT security projects.
- Identify potential attack scenarios, especially by analyzing email traffic and detecting malicious web links and attachments.
- Independently handle and maintain second- and third-level support tickets; proactively identify, remediate, and document problems and misconfigurations in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the technical effectiveness of implemented IT security measures to ensure optimal protection.
What We're Looking For
- At least three years of relevant IT/OT security experience after a completed vocational training of at least three years.
- Strong knowledge of standards such as ISO 27001, IEC 62443, or BSI IT-Grundschutz.
- Practical experience in networking and familiarity with current legal requirements such as NIS-2 or the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
- Cybersecurity certifications, ideally CISM, CISA and/or BSI IT-Grundschutz-Praktiker.
- Excellent documentation skills and fluent English for professional work.

- BSI IT-Grundschutz-Praktiker certification (bonus).
