IT Project Manager

About the Role

Tyler Technologies is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our Portfolio and Program Management Team. The IT Project Manager will oversee cross-functional IT initiatives that support financial systems, enterprise applications, and business process modernization. This role is responsible for end-to-end project execution—planning, coordination, risk management, and delivery—working closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, Security, Audit, and external vendors.

Yarmouth, Maine | Plano, Texas Travel 0-5%.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT projects, including SaaS implementations, system integrations, and business process modernization

• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies

• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals

• Facilitate cross-functional working sessions, status meetings, and decision forums

• Coordinate governance, audit, and compliance documentation

• Track actions, decisions, and risks for transparency

• Support change management via communication, training, and user readiness

• What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives

• Experience managing projects across the full delivery lifecycle

• Experience with ERP platforms, SaaS applications, and system integrations

• Familiarity with audit- or control-driven environments

• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments

• Effective team player with strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent experience

• Project management certification preferred
