Role Overview

As an IT Project Manager you will be a key contributor in driving the IT roadmap forward according to defined plans and prioritizations. You act as the CEO of the project, leading cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions that support product development, manufacturing, and operations. You are accountable for the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery business objective on time, within budget, and in line with quality and scope, while meeting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership & Execution

  • Drive end-to-end project execution by developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with It Project Delivery Framework and timely achievement of key milestones.

  • Lead project kick-off meetings and establish team agreements on project targets.

  • Create and maintain the Project Backlog and ensure timely closure.

  • Budget & Financial Management

  • Plan, forecast, monitor, and control project budgets and Total Costs of Ownership of project outcome

  • Support the business representative in assesing the organizational benefits and value the project is expected to deliver, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and measurable outcomes.

  • Initiate and oversee the AFIS Project and ensure the project team is equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to accurately report working hours.

  • Escalate major deviations in financials or other areas according to the escalation model.

  • Risk & Issue Management

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks according to Risk Register over Project Lifetime

  • Ensure recovery plans are in place and monitor their effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Escalate problems when necessary to ensure timely resolution.

  • Team Leadership & Resource Management

  • Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate activities related to successful project execution.

  • Manage allocated resources, including task delegation, motivation, support and escalation once needed.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

  • Manage conflicts within the team.

  • Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Maintain effective & recurrent communication within the project team and with stakeholders.

  • Report project progress and status to Governance or Steering Committee and present TG milestones at management meetings.

  • Ensure customer focus and strive to increase customer value and satisfaction.

  • Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain and update project documentation and systems in accordance with Autoliv policies.

  • Use applicable problem-solving tools and methods to support project success.

  • Time Management

  • Monitor critical paths and ensure timely delivery of project phases.

  • Set up and maintain regular project meetings to track progress and resolve issues.

  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Conduct regular retrospectives to identify bottlenecks in workflows and suggest improvements (not only at the end of the projects)

  • Use feedback loops to adjust planning and execution practices

  • Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; Project Management training is a plus.

  • Fluent in English

  • Experience in a similar position

  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.

  • Experience working in dynamic environments and driving continuous improvement.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders, build networks, and work effectively in teams.

  • High level of professionalism, ownership, and leadership potential.
