Job title: IT Project Manager
About the Role IT project management role within the IT department, reporting to the IT Director, responsible for governance, delivery and adoption of IT projects across Volvo Trucks France. You will work in agile mode, collaborating with internal teams, partners and external suppliers to deliver value quickly and ensure coherence of the information system.
What You'll Do
- Governance & prioritization of projects: Contribute to the prioritization of the project portfolio, provide visibility on progress and dependencies, participate in the continuous optimization of project performance
- Cross-functional vision of the information system: Capitalize on your cross-functional vision to formalize a mapping of the information system, ensure the coherence of deployed solutions with existing standards, identify opportunities for simplification and optimization
- Delivery & responsibility for deployments: Be responsible for the success of IT projects from framing to production and adoption, manage the delivery and deployment of solutions, ensure coordination of all involved actors (IT teams, business, partners, suppliers), identify, anticipate and address risks that may impact project success, ensure proper preparation for deployments and secure transition phases to operational teams
- User experience & change management: Integrate user adoption challenges from project design, define and implement communication and training actions, measure solution adoption and adjust measures if necessary
- Leadership & continuous improvement: Support project managers and consultants in their activities, promote effective and pragmatic delivery practices, develop a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement, contribute to the maturity of project practices within Volvo Trucks France
What We're Looking For
- Minimum education BAC +5, at least 7 years of experience in IT project management, ideally in complex and multi-stakeholder environments
- Management of projects in agile or hybrid environments
- Coordination of multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to structure and prioritize topics
- Good understanding of IT environments (infrastructure, digital tools)
- Ability to be operational and take on topics directly if necessary
- Strong sensitivity to user experience and change management
- Fluent English required (min C1)
- Driving license and ability to travel occasionally (~1 time per month)
