About the Role Volt is immediately hiring an IT Procurement Specialist in San Diego, CA. You will assist with IT procurement, vendor management, software licensing, asset management, and related processes to support US and Canada sites. What You'll Do
- Place orders to purchase IT PC hardware and software for all site locations in US and Canada.
- Interact with vendors for product research, price quotes and order tracking.
- Open tickets for hardware and software requests; coordinate with CSA IT inventory and regional IT.
- Ensure software licensing compliance; track licensing and distribute software.
- Track IT capital and expensed spending; collaborate with Property Accounting to maintain PC assets.
- Assist in process documentation and the full cycle of asset management; produce inventory reports.
- Monitor HR reports for moves, new hires and terminations; support field offices and IT reps.
- Manage loaner laptop pool and field office procurement support.
- Support IT budget activities; work with supervisor on PC capital budget approval.
- Provide ongoing procurement support and documentation for standardized processes. What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of related IT procurement/administration experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in San Diego, CA
- Experience with software licensing management and asset management
- Strong vendor management, order tracking, and budgeting skills
- Self-starter with ability to create and implement standardized processes Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $36.00-$37.00 per hour DOE
