About this role
In the IT department, within the Information Technology area, we are looking for a resource who will work closely with production, contributing to the resilience of industrial processes and the protection of IT infrastructures. The resource will be a protagonist in incident management and in the implementation of innovative solutions to prevent recurrence.
Specifically, the areas of activity and responsibilities will be:
- Cybersecurity IT/OT: oversee IT and industrial cybersecurity, monitoring and managing threats on factory systems and IT infrastructures;
- Operational Continuity: define and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure uninterrupted production;
- Penetration Test & Continuous Improvement: proactively follow periodic penetration tests and translate results into operational best practices and concrete improvement plans, to raise the security and reliability level of the systems;
- Problem Solving in Production: be the reference point for solving operational problems, analyzing causes and documenting lessons learned and structured prevention procedures;
- New Implementations: actively participate in technology innovation projects in the production domain;
- Compliance & Normative: contribute to the development of the Cybersecurity Management System (CSMS) in line with UNECE R155 regulations, as well as ISO 27001 and NIS2 standards;
- Cross-team Collaboration: work closely with Engineering, Production and the VW Group to integrate security policies and best practices at an international level.
Requirements
- Preferably a Degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent path;
- excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written;
- prior experience in cybersecurity with knowledge in both IT and OT;
- knowledge of regulatory and best practices for business continuity and compliance in the automotive sector (e.g. R155);
- prior direct experience in production plants, SCADA/PLC systems, MES and industrial processes;
- proactive mindset, problem-solving orientation and passion for innovation.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual gross salary starting from 42,000.00 EUR, determined based on relevant professional experience, the required skills for the role and applicable framing and enhancement criteria under the Metalworking Industry CCNL.
