IT Officer

Section: Overview An experienced IT Officer is sought to join a leading travel industry company in Abuja.

Section: Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, network devices, and other IT infrastructure.
• Manage network connectivity, user access, software installations, and system support.
• Support and maintain GDS setups and travel-related software where required.
• Monitor IT systems and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Provide technical assistance to staff and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

Section: Requirements

• Minimum of an HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in network administration, hardware troubleshooting, and systems support. Travel industry experience is mandatory.
• Experience supporting GDS setups or travel software is an added advantage.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, or MCSA are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud management, hardware, and software support.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
