Job title: IT Manager
About the Role The IT Manager is responsible for the overall management of IT infrastructure and services at the project's offices/locations, aligned with Ferrovial's IT procedures and cybersecurity framework.
What You'll Do
- Desktop Support: supervise and coordinate onboarding resources, equipment delivery and installation; obtain, maintain, and track IT assets inventory; provide onsite support in coordination with the service desk; prepare old equipment for safe disposal; track mobile services billing; agile escalation of massive/critical events; provide direct support to tickets at client offices.
- Local Infrastructure: supervise office cabling, patching and server room resources, and environmental conditions for proper operation; manage local printer agreements and their connection to the corporate network; support equipment relocation and racking for corporate projects; manage local security access to the office and cameras.
- Corporate Services: support corporate projects related to communications and network including user testing; agile escalation of major events; serve as main point of contact for incident solving, power shortages and onsite support; support software provision.
- Local Solutions: develop, implement, manage, and administer local IT solutions in support of production needs in coordination with corporate IT teams; monitor and manage access to local systems; provide support for IT audits.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in technical support.
- Associate degree or higher in IT (BS preferred).
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ and Microsoft certifications preferred.
- Self-starter, proactive, with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Service oriented and good social skills.
- Ability to transmit directions and training for users.
