About the Role
The Internal Auditor – Information Technology at Accenture performs audit projects in line with Accenture’s audit methodology and the IIA International Standards. The role focuses on cyber/data security, IT operations, and IT compliance, delivering high-quality audits that support management and the Audit Committee. What You'll Do
- Participate in risk-based work plan development and communicate outcomes to senior stakeholders, including the Audit Committee.
- Verify IT operating procedures through systematic audits; assist in developing the annual audit plan and schedule.
- Manage audit work papers, findings, and reports; prepare audit reports and supporting documentation.
- Conduct IT integrated audits across operational, compliance, financial, and investigative teams; oversee cyber/data security, IT operations, IT service delivery, and IT compliance audits.
- Assess emerging risk areas (cyber security, AI, cloud, RPA, IoT) and identify improvement opportunities for global processes and controls.
- Maintain auditee relationships, facilitate discussions of findings, and present final reports to leadership and board-level audiences.
- Contribute to IA team development, recruiting, training, and career growth; stay current on policies, technology trends, and applicable laws. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree; professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CISSP, CCSK.
- Minimum of 10 years of IT auditing experience or equivalent in information security or technology roles.
- Strong knowledge of operational, compliance, and IT auditing techniques; experience in global internal audit functions; familiarity with ISO 27001/20000, NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR; cloud security (Azure AZ500, AWS); AI/GenAI audits; SOX/COSO/COBIT.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills; ability to mentor team members; willing to travel up to 20%. Nice to Have
