IT Infrastructure & Operations Supervisor
- Our Client is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation, availability, and reliability of the Company's IT environment across all Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
- The successful candidate will ensure that employees have reliable access to IT systems, networks, hardware, software, and business applications while providing effective technical support and maintaining a stable and secure IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day IT infrastructure and operations across all SBUs.
- Provide and coordinate end-user IT support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Manage the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT hardware and software.
- Administer corporate networks, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, and related infrastructure.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, permissions, password policies, and onboarding/offboarding activities.
- Monitor IT systems, network performance, connectivity, and infrastructure availability.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, hardware, software licenses, and configurations.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, upgrades, repairs, and replacement of IT equipment.
- Ensure smooth operation of business systems and escalate complex technical issues when required.
- Implement IT support procedures, service standards, and troubleshooting processes.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware, software, connectivity, and technical support.
- Support data backup, system recovery, cybersecurity, and business continuity activities.
- Maintain IT documentation, technical procedures, network records, and asset registers.
- Monitor IT incidents and service requests and ensure timely resolution in line with agreed SLAs.
- Provide technical support for new offices, retail locations, systems, and technology deployments.
- Supervise IT support personnel and ensure effective service delivery across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, technical support, or systems administration.
- Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, hardware/software support, Windows environments, user administration, and IT troubleshooting.
- Experience managing LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, servers, endpoints, printers, and other IT infrastructure.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Azure AD or equivalent identity and access management platforms.
- Experience supporting multiple locations, business units, or retail environments will be an advantage.
- Strong vendor-management and technical problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of IT security, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.
- Excellent communication, coordination, documentation, and customer-service skills.
Desirable Certifications:
- ITIL | CCNA | Microsoft Certifications | CompTIA Network+ | CompTIA A+ | MCSE/MCSA or equivalent
