It comprised a very basic match manufacturing plant, a tiny office and one distribution van. At the time, the challenges of running a match manufacturing business were many: we were the smallest manufacturer, competing with much more established brands, had limited presence due to market access in some regions only and limited technology.

Job Summary

• Match Masters Limited is looking for a hands-on IT Executive to work with our Odoo ERP system (Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Accounting). You will troubleshoot Odoo daily, manage networks (LAN/WAN/VPN/firewalls), handle user training, coordinate with external developers, and enforce basic cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for Odoo ERP users across manufacturing, inventory, procurement, sales, and finance functions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Odoo ERP functional and basic technical issues.

• Coordinate with ERP consultants and developers for bug fixes, customizations, and upgrades.

• Train users and assist departments in improving ERP usage and process compliance.

• Monitor ERP performance, backups, and data integrity.

• Support IT infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs with third-party IT support vendors

• Manage user accounts, permissions, printers, email systems, and endpoint devices.

• Implement and maintain basic IT security measures including antivirus, endpoint security, password policies, and backup procedures.

• Monitor network performance and respond to system or connectivity issues.

• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.

• Provide onsite and remote technical support to users.

• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware, software, internet, and security solutions.

• Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience: 2–3 years in IT support + ERP experience (Odoo in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred).

• ERP Skills: Deep familiarity with Odoo modules (Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Accounting).

• Networking: Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, switches, routers, Wi-Fi, firewalls).

• Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Odoo modules such as Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, and Accounting is a must

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is plus

• Certifications in networking or cybersecurity are a plus.
