IT - Business Analyst - Level 1

Position Summary

We are seeking a versatile, technically inclined, and analytical Business Analyst to support organizational initiatives through structured analysis, requirements management, process improvement, and AI-enabled business solutions.

This role is responsible for bridging business needs with technology solutions by gathering and documenting requirements, supporting project delivery, evaluating opportunities for automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and enhancing operational efficiency across the organization.

The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, developers, project teams, and technology partners to identify business needs, define solutions, and support the successful implementation of both traditional and AI-powered initiatives.

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Assess business needs and translate them into structured documentation, including:
• Requirements
• User stories
• Acceptance criteria
• Workflows
• Process maps
• Ensure alignment between stakeholder expectations, business objectives, and technical solutions.
• Facilitate discussions and workshops with business and technical stakeholders.

AI & Automation Analysis

• Identify opportunities where Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Copilot technologies, and automation solutions can improve business processes and service delivery.
• Work with stakeholders to assess the feasibility and business value of AI-enabled solutions.
• Support the design, documentation, testing, and rollout of AI-powered tools, assistants, and workflow automation initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations aligned with organizational goals.
• Assist in developing AI use cases, business cases, and implementation plans.

Process Improvement

• Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, manual effort, and gaps.
• Develop recommendations for workflow improvements and automation opportunities.
• Contribute to the standardization of requirements gathering, documentation, and business analysis practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across multiple projects and departments.

Solution & Project Support

• Support business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with solution analysis, scope definition, effort estimation, and planning activities.
• Participate in workshops, planning sessions, sprint activities, and project discussions.
• Support testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue validation, and solution deployment activities.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze business and operational data to support informed decision-making.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and actionable insights.
• Track key metrics and performance indicators.
• Support data validation, quality assurance, and reporting initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

• Degree or diploma in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or a similar role.

• Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements.

• Experience working closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and project teams.

• Experience supporting software, automation, AI, digital transformation, or solution delivery initiatives.

• Hands-on experience evaluating, recommending, or implementing AI-enabled solutions, workflow automation, or Copilot technologies.

• Experience with Copilot Studio, Power Automate, ChatGPT, Azure AI, AWS AI services, or similar technologies.

• Data & Tools

Experience with tools such as:

• Microsoft Copilot (required)
• Power BI
• Azure DevOps
• Jira
• Visio / Lucidchart
• Power Automate
• Confluence

Ability to:

• Analyze and present data clearly.

• Create process documentation and workflow diagrams.

• Support AI and automation initiatives through business analysis activities.

• Salary rate: $60,000
