Job title: IT Auditor
About the Role IT Auditor will lead projects to evaluate, design and test the IT control environment, ensuring compliance objectives are met. The role collaborates with IT/Info Security, Compliance, Audit Services and SOX finance teams, performing IT and Information Security audits per the annual plan, documenting results and communicating findings. The position requires the ability to work in a complex, dynamic, multinational environment.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate control design and identify gaps
- Execute specific test steps and document results
- Communicate test results and identify control deficiencies
- Collaborate with process owners on the status of control testing
- Formulate recommendations to improve internal control processes and other value‑adding opportunities
- Assist in process evaluations and identify opportunities to create efficiencies
- Follow up on outstanding action points within an agreed timetable and ensure issues are closed promptly
- Assist in determining the annual audit plan and the creation of relevant audit programs
- Document audit testing and results for review by management
- Communicate preliminary audit findings with IT owners, management and the Senior IT Auditor
- Demonstrate ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment and evaluate controls over logical access, change management, infrastructure, network, cloud, applications and databases
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience; SOX/GITC/ITGC auditing; preferably Big 4 Public Accounting or similar
- Security and audit certifications highly desirable
- Working knowledge of auditing tools and data analytics tools; SQL or scripting a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of IT governance, ITIL and COBIT; understanding of PCI, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27000 series
- Experience with infrastructure technologies, cloud security, and network security devices
- Familiarity with IT security tools
- Strong communication skills, team player attitude, self-starter, able to meet deadlines
- Ability to independently evaluate controls over logical access, change management, infrastructure, applications and databases
