Job title: IT Audit Manager
About the Role AIG's Internal Audit Group (IAG) Technology Audit Team in Tokyo is seeking an IT Audit Manager to cover Applications, core Infrastructure, Information Security and Change. You will plan and execute audit engagements, monitor technology transformation initiatives (including Japan IT modernization and cloud migrations), and contribute to an annual risk-based audit plan.
What You'll Do
- Full audit lifecycle - plan, test controls, communicate audit results, and perform issue verification.
- Assist senior management in developing and executing a risk-based audit plan.
- Manage relationships with key technology stakeholders and clearly communicate audit results to senior management and auditees.
- Stay current on emerging technology/regulatory topics and update risk and control environment assessments with data analytics where applicable.
- Collaborate with overseas IAG teams and other assurance functions to drive audit coverage and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- 5-8 years of relevant audit experience (or relevant technology experience transitioning into risk and control).
- Professional designation (CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP) expected or to be obtained within 12 months.
- Familiarity with cloud technology audits (AWS and/or GCP); cyber security audit experience is preferred.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and project management skills; ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
- Japanese/English bilingual preferred (native in one, upper intermediate/business level in the other).
- Experience with data analytics; financial services/insurance industry experience a plus.
- Willingness to be primarily in-office in Tokyo (onsite).
Nice to Have
- Experience leveraging data analysis tools; interest in data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled audit practices.
