Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Master of Computer Science and information Technology or related course (optional)

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–4 years relevant experience in an IT support/administration role

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Windows Server, and networking fundamentals

  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft, CompTIA, CCNA, or similar) are an advantage

  • Familiarity with endpoint security tools and cybersecurity best practices

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, fast-paced IT team

  • Job Purpose

  • The IT Administrator will support the Firm's IT function by providing technical and administrative support across infrastructure, endpoint security, Microsoft 365 administration, and legal technology platforms. The role involves assisting with system administration, network and server support, cybersecurity monitoring, user support and helpdesk operations, and maintenance of IT infrastructure. The IT Administrator will support the IT team delivering reliable, secure, and efficient IT services while contributing to the overall effectiveness and growth of the Firm's IT function.

  • Knowledge Needs

The ideal candidate should possess a combination of the following competencies, including but not limited to:

  • Provision of first- and second-line technical support to staff and partners across the Firm

  • Administration and maintenance Microsoft 365 services (One drive, SharePoint, Office intranet, user accounts, and email services, Teams, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of at least one Document management system (DMS)

  • Managing and troubleshooting printer, scanner and other peripheral devices

  • Supporting endpoint security operations, including monitoring of antivirus/EDR platforms (Sophos/CrowdStrike)

  • Possession of system troubleshooting skills, performing software upgrades and patches (BIOS, firmware upgrade) for both Windows and MacBook laptops

  • Assistance with administration of Windows Server environments and identity/directory services

  • Supporting VoIP/PBX systems

  • Possession of general network infrastructure troubleshooting skills

  • Familiarity with managing and configuration of CISCO devices

  • Familiarity with managing and resolving support tickets in a timely manner

  • Familiarity with onboarding/offboarding of staff IT accounts and equipment

  • Maintenance of accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and assets

  • Basic cybersecurity knowledge and familiar with cybersecurity awareness training

  • Familiarity with IT procurement, vendor coordination, and asset management

Salary

The candidate will be entitled to a 13th-month salary
