About the Role Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation seeks an IS Infrastructure Specialist to manage and support the Oracle EBS environment and underlying infrastructure in Nashville, TN. The role focuses on Oracle EBS 12.2, Oracle Database 19c, Red Hat Enterprise Linux virtualization, TLS 1.2 security for backend services, and middleware components such as WebLogic/Fusion Middleware, ORDS, ECC, and Oracle Apex. The position involves hands-on administration to ensure secure, scalable infrastructure for enterprise applications.
What You'll Do
- Work on Oracle EBS Applications 12.2 and Oracle Database 19c, and support EBS on 19c with multitenant architecture.
- Manage RHEL OS virtualized environment.
- Support EBS environment cloning.
- Implement and administer TLS 1.2 certificates for Oracle EBS end-to-end encryption for backend services behind the load balancer.
- Administer WebLogic/Fusion Middleware.
- Administrate ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services) and Oracle ECC (Enterprise Command Centre).
- Handle Oracle Apex (Application Express).
What We're Looking For
- Experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 and Oracle Database 19c, including multitenant architecture.
- Experience managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) virtualization environments.
- Experience implementing TLS 1.2 certificates for Oracle EBS and ensuring end-to-end encryption backend services behind a load balancer.
- Experience with WebLogic/Fusion Middleware administration.
- Experience with ORDS and Oracle ECC administration.
- Experience with Oracle Apex (Application Express).
- Ability to work in Nashville, TN and contribute as part of Caterpillar’s global IT team.
