About the Role Humana's IPA Consultative Coder supports delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care for seniors within IPA clinics. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve documentation accuracy and reinforce coding and documentation best practices, with a hybrid work arrangement and occasional travel within the assigned market. What You'll Do
- Deliver coding and documentation education to providers and clinic staff within IPA clinics.
- Serve as a consultative resource and ongoing support for providers in assigned clinics.
- Conduct documentation audits to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform quarterly chart reviews to support coding accuracy and documentation completeness.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to reinforce documentation best practices and impact care quality. What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of risk adjustment medical coding experience.
- CCS, CRC or CPC certification.
- Familiarity with value-based care.
- Must live within 50 miles of the assigned market.
