The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable working on innovations ranging from rocket engines and satellite systems to next-generation artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, robotics, and advanced software technologies. The successful candidate will possess the technical depth to engage credibly with engineers, scientists, and developers on complex technologies, while also demonstrating the professionalism and confidence to work directly with sophisticated clients and industry leaders. The position will involve a significant amount of direct partner and client interaction, and unique opportunities that come from working for a truly global law firm.

This position will primarily involve prosecution and patent counseling but will also have opportunity to support various other types of related legal work. The ideal candidate is a junior- to mid-level patent prosecution and counseling associate with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in our San Francisco or Washington DC offices. Applicants must have a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied physics, computer science, or equivalent experience, and a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
