Job title: IP Accelerator for Healthcare Portals
About the Role Light-it's IP Accelerator for Healthcare Portals accelerates the development of HIPAA-ready patient portals by providing a production-grade foundation of pre-built modules, integrations, and a fully embedded form engine. You will configure, extend, and deploy a patient portal with EHR integrations, onboarding forms, scheduling, and billing, and you will own the codebase after go-live.
Because this role focuses on delivering a reusable platform, you will work with cross-functional teams to map clinical and technical requirements to validated components and launch a production-ready portal in a fast-paced engagement.
What You'll Do
- Engage Light-it to map your clinical and technical requirements to a curated set of pre-built modules, selecting, configuring, and assembling the right pieces for your context.
- Configure modules to your clinical workflows, brand, and EHR environment; extend with custom features built on top of the framework.
- Launch a production-ready portal with full ownership of the codebase, avoiding handoffs and vendor lock-in.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, clinical UX, and healthcare partners.
- Work with proven integrations (Stedi, Stripe, Healthie, etc.) and secure data handling (PHI, audit logs).
What We're Looking For
- Experience in digital health and patient-facing products; familiarity with PHI handling and HIPAA compliance.
- Interest in accelerators and working with a reusable, production-grade foundation rather than building from scratch.
- Ability to map requirements to pre-built modules and manage EHR integrations, onboarding forms, scheduling, and billing infrastructures.
- Comfortable with fast-paced engagements and owning a codebase end-to-end.
Nice to Have
- Proven integrations with Stedi, Stripe, Healthie & more.
- Experience with EHR Bridge connectors and common EHR edge cases (auth failures, schema drift, rate limits, version changes).
- Familiarity with SOC 2, audit logging, encryption at rest/in transit.
- Experience with 270/271 EDI or healthcare payer data workflows.
