Job title: IoT Solutions Architecture Manager
About the Role Canonical is hiring an IoT Solutions Architecture Manager to lead a regionally-focused team of Field Engineers in Presales and Professional Services, helping customers with solution architecture, design and delivery. The role is remote and will govern a team spanning Americas, EMEA and APAC time zones.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a regional team of Field Engineers in Presales and Professional Services across Americas, EMEA and APAC.
- Guide customers through IoT solution architecture, design and delivery to enable secure connected devices fleets.
- Collaborate with customers to design scalable, secure gateways, control systems and appliances, aligned with Canonical's Ubuntu OS and kernel and secure update/management mechanisms.
- Align on strategy and execution across geos, coordinating across time zones to ensure successful deployments.
What We're Looking For
- Experience leading regionally distributed teams in IoT solution architecture, presales and professional services.
- Strong understanding of IoT ecosystems, security requirements and deployment of edge devices, gateways and cloud integration.
- Familiarity with Ubuntu OS and kernel, and secure update and management mechanisms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work across multiple time zones.
- Ability to operate in a fast-growing, globally distributed organization.
