About the Role The Neurophysiology Lab Supervisor leads daily planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of neurophysiology, providing functional guidance to neurophysiology technologists who perform intra-operative monitoring (IONM) during surgical cases. They collaborate with the Ambulatory Manager and Chief to develop clinical education, training, competency evaluation, and new procedure protocols, and monitor customer satisfaction with neurophysiology services and technology. They may perform duties as supervisor, researcher, and staff technologist during surgical downtime and must be available for 24/7 coverage. What You'll Do
- Provide leadership and supervision of neurophysiology staff performing IONM across surgical cases, and oversee daily operations of the neurophysiology lab.
- Collaborate with Neurology Ambulatory Manager and Chief to develop clinical education, training programs, competency evaluations, and new procedure protocols.
- Monitor internal and external customer satisfaction and help advance cutting-edge neurophysiology applications and technology.
- Perform duties of supervisor, researcher, and staff technologist as needed during surgical downtime and provide 24/7 administrative coverage for emergencies.
- Maintain and expand skills in EEG, EP, NCV, and IONM to ensure comprehensive service coverage. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a related health field.
- 1-3 years of experience in neurodiagnostic services required; 5+ years preferred.
- CNIM certification (ABRET or other National registry) and board eligibility; REEGT certification is not required.
- Ability to cover 24/7 administrative needs and provide guidance to staff in high-stakes surgical environments.
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills. Nice to Have
- 5+ years of neurodiagnostic experience (preferred).
