About the Role Lean Engineer to support launching a new production area and drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing practices. You will work across production and logistics to raise efficiency, quality and safety. What You'll Do
- Support the start-up of a new production area and implement Lean Manufacturing best practices
- Analyze production and logistics processes; identify efficiency improvements
- Design and deploy waste-elimination solutions; improve productivity, quality and safety
- Conduct process mapping (VSM) and define target material/information flows
- Collaborate with production, engineering, quality and logistics teams to solve process issues
- Implement and develop standard work, visual management and problem-solving methods
- Organize and lead Kaizen workshops and other Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Analyze production data and prepare recommendations for business leaders
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring and training What We're Looking For
- Technical higher education
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or production process optimization
- Practical knowledge of Lean tools (VSM, Standard Work, Problem Solving, Kaizen, Visual Management, 5S)
- Experience leading process improvement projects
- Ability to analyze data and make fact-based decisions
- Autonomy, initiative and results orientation
- Strong collaboration with employees at all levels
- Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple projects
- Experience delivering trainings/workshops for production teams
- Proficient in English for international collaboration
- Very good MS Office skills Nice to Have
- Experience launching new processes or production lines
- Experience in optical, electronic or high-tech industries
