Our client, a leading bulge bracket investment bank, is looking to add a Vice President to its top-ranked Healthcare Services investment banking group. The team is widely regarded as one of the premier Healthcare Services franchises on the Street and regularly competes with the largest global banks on the sector's most notable mandates.
About the Team
- Healthcare Services is the flagship coverage vertical within the firm's Healthcare franchise.
- Roughly 80% of activity is M&A, with the remainder spanning leveraged finance, capital markets, and IPO execution.
- Coverage spans Healthcare Services, Managed Care, Healthcare IT, and Tech-Enabled Services.
- The group is intentionally lean, so VPs get meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and visibility with senior leadership.
- The platform continues to invest in growth, including a recent senior hire from a bulge bracket Healthcare IT team.
- There is a strong track record of internal development and promotion, including a lateral VP hire who has since been promoted to Director.
The Opportunity
- Join as a VP and build toward a true coverage officer role over time.
- Take ownership of client relationships and deal execution in a lean, collaborative environment.
- The team places a strong emphasis on culture and fit, and the existing VP and Director group is supportive of adding to the bench.
Ideal Candidate
- Jr VP, VP1, or VP2 with prior Healthcare investment banking experience at a bulge bracket, elite boutique, or leading middle-market platform.
- Significant sell-side M&A execution experience. Broader product exposure across capital raising and financing is also of interest.
- Primary experience in Healthcare Services is preferred, but candidates from other healthcare sectors with strong M&A backgrounds will be considered.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to develop their own client relationships.
- Strong fit with a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
