Job title: Investment and Banking SME
Responsibilities
- Translate banking domain knowledge into functional requirements, solution designs, and system enhancements.
- Advise product and technical teams on designing AI tools tailored to investment banking workflows.
- Guide feature development for capital markets, M&A, and debt/equity issuance scenarios.
- Participate in pre-sales and proposal efforts by validating technical approaches and sharing industry insights.
- Collaborate with data scientists on financial datasets, structuring inputs for AI/ML models.
- Support client engagement through pitch support, demo preparation, and industry event participation.
- Translate complex banking workflows into GenAI use cases (e.g., AI for pitchbooks, document processing).
- Stay informed on regulatory developments (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, Basel) to guide compliant solutioning.
Qualifications

MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced certification/degree.

6–8 years in investment banking roles such as M&A, DCM, ECM, or structured finance.

Expertise in financial modeling, due diligence, capital raising, and documentation.

Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance mandates.

Proven communication skills to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders.

Experience working with financial platforms (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Dealogic, or internal systems).

Exposure to AI/ML, RPA, or analytics tools in banking or financial services.

Experience working in Agile or product development environments.
