About the Role

An Investment Analyst role within Payvation Limited, a Dublin-based family office, reporting to the Investment Manager. The role covers strategy development, portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, representation for the firm’s investments, and leading the end-to-end investment process across early-stage opportunities, funds, private banking, and payments/fintech businesses.

The position is hybrid in Dublin (three days in the office, two remote) and requires a self-sufficient, commercially minded candidate with a keen interest in investing and early-stage companies.

What You'll Do

  • Strategy: assist with development and presentation of strategy papers and senior management/board level engagement for the family office and its assets.

  • Portfolio Management: manage asset allocation and provide regular updates on performance across funds and holdings; track cash flows and maintain investment records.

  • Engagement: build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders (current and potential investments); regularly meet with stakeholders, provide updates and recommendations to the CEO; serve as the primary contact for outsourced finance providers and banking partners.

  • Representation: represent the firm as an investor; take board positions if necessary; support preparation of board and investment committee meetings including agendas, materials, and minutes.

  • Investment Process: lead all stages of the investment process including financial modelling, commercial insights, scenario analysis, due diligence and investment closing; hands-on involvement in assessing venture capital opportunities.

  • Managing Providers: liaise with accountants, tax & legal advisors on an ongoing basis to ensure sound financial reporting and governance.

  • Reporting & Administration: prepare and consolidate regular and ad-hoc reports for the CEO and senior management; support monitoring of philanthropic activities and maintain internal systems, databases and reporting templates.

  • What We're Looking For

  • Recently completed Masters or Professional qualification in Business/Finance/Investments.

  • Ideally 1-2 years’ experience in an investment analysis or portfolio management role.

  • Excellent financial, analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Demonstrable interest or understanding of investments and financial markets.

  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation ability.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to tight deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
