About this role
BlackRock's Investment Accounting Group (IAG) is hiring an Investment Accounting Associate in Mumbai, India. IAG provides accounting and regulatory data services to over 25 insurance clients (AUM of $285bn) who have outsourced their accounting function to BlackRock, including preparation and oversight of monthly accounting packages and support schedules, regulatory returns, and statutory reporting. IAG also supports client changes through corporate and other developments, and is currently investing in new Aladdin technology integrated with PAM for Investments to build an integrated accounting and risk platform.
Key Accounting Responsibilities:
- Analyze accounting data and provide commentary regarding accounting results
- Prepare, review, and/or ensure distribution of accounting packages and reporting schedules to clients on schedule
