About the Role The City of Reading's Human Relations Commission Investigator receives filed and/or transferred complaints for investigation and works to resolve disputes through mediation, conciliation, and other resolutions, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. What You'll Do
- Receive filed and/or transferred complaints for investigation
- Resolve complaints through mediation, conciliation, and other resolutions
- Develop case profiles through interviewing, fact-finding, assessment of documents, discovery and onsite field investigations
- Notify clients of the status of their complaint within 30 days
- Gather all relevant information for case review with the HRC Executive Director
- Determine if pleadings are complete and the parties have received a copy of the pleadings and the rules/regulations
