About the Role CNH Industrial is seeking an Inventory/Materials Coordinator to serve as the liaison between assembly, distribution, and receiving. You will proactively evaluate resources to prevent shortages of purchased and manufactured parts, and help drive inventory accuracy and timely material deliveries to multiple departments. What You'll Do
- Proactively evaluate resources to determine future shortages in purchased and manufactured parts and communicate issues with management and appropriate support functions.
- Perform routine processes including navigating and printing pick lists, pulling and placing parts on kit carts, replenishing inventory, detecting defects, and tracking part positions on carts, racks and bins; communicate shortages as applicable.
- Coordinate inventory adjustments, replacements, and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Oversee direct vendor delivery method: address late deliveries, wrong location, incorrect quantity, or wrong part; coordinate deliveries to departments and schedule delivery or shipping.
- Set up new locations and removal of old inventory; determine bin size and quantity multiples.
- Provide daily line load schedules for multiple departments.
- Investigate potential bill of material errors or misapplications of parts and coordinate corrective actions; advise material planning on the true urgency of parts to avoid unnecessary expedites.
- Identify substitute parts when current parts are not available.
- Responsible for equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, tuggers, and racking, along with all materials picked. What We're Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or GED. Nice to Have
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills: JD Edwards, SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Overall work record (performance, quality, attendance, etc.).
