We are seeking a diligent Inventory & Warehousing Officer to join our team in Apapa, Lagos, specifically within the vital healthcare industry. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient management, storage, tracking, and control of all inventory items at our facility.

Your primary responsibilities will include accurately receiving and verifying goods, maintaining meticulous inventory records, and ensuring proper storage conditions. You will monitor stock levels, manage reorder points, and apply principles like FIFO/FEFO, especially for critical medical supplies and consumables.

This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a clean, secure, and well-controlled warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify goods against approved Purchase Orders and delivery documents.
• Properly label, arrange, and store inventory in accordance with required storage conditions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and stock card/system records.
• Monitor stock levels, consumption, reorder points, and critical stock items.
• Apply FIFO/FEFO principles, particularly for medical supplies and consumables.
• Issue stock to authorized departments against approved requests and maintain proper documentation.
• Process and document stock transfers, returns, damaged items, and adjustments.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile physical balances with system records.
• Identify and report stock discrepancies, shortages, excess stock, slow-moving items, and near-expiry items.
• Prepare periodic inventory and stock movement reports for the Procurement & Supply Chain Manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and properly controlled warehouse.
• Support stock forecasting and replenishment by providing accurate consumption and inventory data.
• Ensure compliance with the company's inventory, warehousing, safety, and control procedures.
• Support internal and external inventory audits when required.

Qualifications

• HND/Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 2–4 years’ experience in inventory management, warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations.

• Experience in a healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical, or regulated environment is an advantage.

• Good understanding of inventory control, stock reconciliation, FIFO/FEFO, and warehouse practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.

• Experience with Zoho Inventory/Zoho Books or similar ERP systems is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
