To effectively manage the restaurant’s inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock levels, proper storage, timely replenishment, minimal wastage, and strong inventory controls across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the receipt, storage, issuance, and movement of all inventory.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment based on approved reorder levels.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and investigate variances.
- Monitor food wastage, spoilage, expiry, and damaged items and ensure proper documentation.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food, beverages, packaging, and other supplies.
- Verify quantities and quality of items received against purchase orders and invoices.
- Monitor stock usage against sales and production to identify unusual variances.
- Prepare regular inventory reports and provide recommendations to reduce losses and improve cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with inventory, food safety, and storage procedures.
