Job title: Inventory Control Manager II
About the Role The Inventory Control Manager II leads the inventory control function to support the client service agreement, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. This senior leader builds customer relationships and partners with operations to ensure accurate asset accounting and right product in the right place at the right time.
What You'll Do
- Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team to enable successful delivery of commercial and operational requirements per the client service agreement.
- Develop proactive inventory control strategies, anticipate issues, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, asset custody, and reporting.
- Build and nurture customer relationships and operational partnerships to support service levels and KPI adherence.
- Lead the development of inventory planning and supply chain initiatives; analyze data with new methods and apply appropriate inventory control analysis.
- Ensure adherence to inventory control KPIs, monitor shrink and accuracy against floor and customer books; provide required documentation to auditors.
- Create a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment; manage site associates, performance reviews, development plans, succession; manage turnover to target levels.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 4 years Inventory Control experience.
- 3+ years logistics industry experience; 3+ years management experience (unit pick environment; large company preferred).
- 1+ years client relationship, staff management and objective setting experience; KPI development and cross-functional reporting.
- Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP; Microsoft Office; excellent written and verbal communication.

- Large company experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
