Job title: Inventory Control Coordinator
About the Role Owens & Minor is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to support receiving, cycle counting, and inventory integrity at the Southaven distribution center. The role ensures accurate inventory locations, processes returns, and supports order fulfillment and vendor returns.
What You'll Do
- Verifies receiving receipts from accounts payable.
- Performs cycle counts on RF units.
- Researches inventory discrepancies and resolves.
- Performs customer service counts (customer shipments).
- Maintains accurate inventory locations and moves inventory locations as required.
- Conducts product rotation according to Company policies and procedures.
- Checks, receives, breaks down, and separates incoming customer returns and returns to inventory.
- Assembles, packs and ships manufacturer and/or vendor returns; initiates required debit memo.
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of Inventory experience.
- General knowledge of basic topics such as math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc.
- Experience with Reach lift, order picker lift, computer, RF unit, copier, inventory reports, accounts payable invoices, purchase orders, catalogs, printer, manuals.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Compensation & Benefits
- The anticipated pay rate for this position is $19.25/hr.
