Inventory Clerk

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk/Order Entry Clerk to join our Gardena, CA team. This long-term contract role supports day-to-day order coordination, inventory tracking, and customer account support in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. Ideal candidates communicate clearly, stay organized under pressure, and proactively resolve order and stock issues. What You'll Do

• Prepare customer quotes, enter sales orders, and monitor open requests through completion
• Build strong working relationships with existing accounts while helping identify opportunities to expand business
• Partner with vendors, warehouse staff, and operations teams to keep shipments and deliveries on schedule
• Review inventory levels, order progress, and client inquiries to provide accurate updates
• Address service concerns promptly and recommend practical solutions that support customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records for customer details, pricing information, and sales activity in business systems including QuickBooks
• Provide administrative and coordination support to field sales staff and management as needed
• Recommend products, share promotional options, and encourage additional purchases when appropriate What We're Looking For
• 1–3+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, sales support, account coordination, or a related role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive client relationships
• Excellent organization skills and close attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced work environment
• Experience tracking orders, inventory availability, and customer requests with accuracy
• Problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach to resolving issues
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and general comfort using business software systems Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $24 - $26 per hour
