Inventory Clerk

We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to support warehouse and inventory operations for a Contract position based in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work, stays organized in a busy setting, and takes pride in accuracy across shipping, receiving, and stock control activities. This will be just a quick two day assignment for a project.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing shipments by preparing packages, verifying contents, and coordinating carrier pickups and deliveries.

• Monitor stock levels through routine cycle counts, inventory checks, and accurate record updates to help maintain dependable inventory control.

• Support order fulfillment by pulling materials, packaging items, and preparing products for shipment in a timely and precise manner.

• Assist with kitting assignments by gathering components and assembling materials according to job or customer requirements.

• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts when needed, while following established safety practices.

• Maintain an orderly work area by organizing materials, keeping storage spaces clean, and contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily productivity and accuracy expectations.

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and remaining on your feet for most of an 8-hour shift.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized and handle inventory tasks carefully and accurately.

• Capable of working collaboratively with a team while also managing responsibilities independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for clear communication and documentation.

• Basic computer skills, including experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
