Inventory Clerk - Reconciling

We are looking for a detail-oriented 3rd Shift Reconciling Inventory Clerk to support inventory accuracy and control activities in Hillsboro, Oregon. This is a Contract to hire position focused on maintaining reliable stock records, reviewing discrepancies, and helping ensure materials are properly accounted for across assembly line operations. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, careful attention to detail, and experience working with inventory counts, reconciliation processes, and asset tracking.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory activity and keep stock records accurate for materials used in production and related operations.

• Investigate quantity variances by comparing physical counts with system records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full annual inventory events to support compliance and reporting accuracy.

• Track company assets and inventory movements to maintain clear visibility of on-hand materials and equipment.

• Partner with production and warehouse teams to confirm materials are available, correctly recorded, and aligned with operational needs.

• Review inventory transactions for completeness and accuracy, including adjustments, transfers, and usage updates.

• Support inventory accounting activities by preparing count documentation and maintaining organized audit-ready records.

• Experience with inventory tracking in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.

• Working knowledge of inventory reconciliation practices and stock variance investigation.

• Familiarity with asset inventory processes and annual physical inventory execution.

• Understanding of inventory accounting fundamentals and accurate record maintenance.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct discrepancies efficiently.

• Ability to work effectively around assembly line operations and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

• Basic computer proficiency for updating inventory records and reviewing transaction data.
