Role Overview

This organization is seeking experienced Invasive Cardiology Consultants to support the implementation, upgrade, and optimization of clinical cardiology solutions within hospital and health system environments. The role integrates clinical expertise, workflow consulting, and direct customer-facing support to ensure successful deployments aligned with clinical and operational requirements. Candidates must possess strong cardiac catheterization laboratory experience, knowledge of cardiovascular imaging systems, and the ability to travel extensively to client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support implementation and upgrade projects for clinical cardiology software solutions.

• Collaborate directly with hospital stakeholders to assess, configure, and optimize clinical workflows.

• Customize system configurations to align with customer clinical and operational requirements.

• Provide consultative guidance on cardiovascular imaging and hemodynamic workflows.

• Deliver professional training and support to healthcare staff throughout the project lifecycle.

• Partner with project managers, implementation teams, and healthcare leadership to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Document workflows, system configurations, and project deliverables meticulously.

• Support weekend upgrade activities when required to minimize operational impact on healthcare organizations.

• Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences, Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience: Four or more years of recent experience in a hospital cardiac catheterization laboratory is required.

• Candidates must hold at least one of the following active clinical credentials: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT), Registered Cardiac Interventional Radiography credential, Registered X-Ray Technologist (R.T.(R)), or Registered Nurse (RN). Proficiency is required in hemodynamic monitoring systems, CPACS, PACS, DICOM, HL7, and enterprise imaging solutions. Strong customer-facing communication and consulting skills are essential.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with echocardiography, vascular, and nuclear medicine workflows.

• Familiarity with clinical registries including CathPCI, STS, and ACC TVT.

• Knowledge of Joint Commission (JCAHO) standards and databases.

• Understanding of XML and healthcare informatics.

• Travel Requirements

• Ability to travel up to 75% throughout North America based on project needs.

• Onsite travel for new implementations typically runs Monday through Friday.

• System upgrades are frequently scheduled on weekends to limit disruption to patient care.
