About the Role The Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) will support the Radiology department at Kingman Regional Medical Center, performing and supervising interventional imaging procedures under the direction of the radiologist while ensuring safe, high-quality patient care. What You'll Do
- Supervise IR staff, coordinate work assignments, develop daily schedules, and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Observe and assist technical and ancillary staff; provide guidance to improve efficiency and quality.
- Perform preparation of control/QA/QC tasks and ensure department adherence to policies and professional standards.
- Serve as Clinical Coordinator for IR students.
- Under radiologist direction and AZDHS guidelines, administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes, including positioning, exposure factor selection, and initiating exposures.
- Use professional judgment to adapt imaging procedures to achieve quality diagnostic outcomes; review pertinent data and assess patient condition to determine appropriate imaging approach. What We're Looking For
- Graduate of a radiologic technologist program.
- AZDHS registration/licensure and ARRT certification.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year IR technologist experience.
- Ability to perform and document interventional imaging procedures. Nice to Have
- Experience coordinating clinical students or similar roles in an IR setting.
- Strong QA/QC and patient safety focus. Compensation & Benefits
