Position Highlights
A well-established healthcare system in Albany, Georgia is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Physician / Physiatrist to join a busy and growing program. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who is dual board-certified in PM&R and Pain Medicine and wants a procedure-heavy practice with significant volume and growth potential.
The incoming physician will have the opportunity to build a highly active practice with a combination of interventional procedures, clinic, and C-arm utilization, along with flexibility to incorporate additional PM&R, musculoskeletal, or rehabilitation work based on interest.
Procedural Scope
- Procedure-heavy interventional pain practice
- Approximately 40 procedures per week
- Combination of clinic and procedural responsibilities
- Broad, head-to-toe interventional pain practice
- Two C-arms available, with full access for the incoming physician
- Strong existing patient demand with the potential to build significant volume
- Opportunity to incorporate PM&R, musculoskeletal, and/or inpatient rehabilitation work if desired
- APP support can be considered as patient volume grows
Opportunity to perform a broad range of interventional procedures, including:
- Fluoroscopically guided injections
- Epidural steroid injections
- Medial branch blocks
- Spinal cord stimulator trials
- Kyphoplasty
- Additional interventional pain procedures based on training and experience
Qualifications

MD or DO
-
Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Pain Medicine

Fellowship trained in Pain Medicine

Experienced with fluoroscopically guided interventional procedures

Eligible for Georgia medical licensure

Comfortable managing a high-volume procedural and clinical practice
