About this role
About the Role The High School Intervention Specialist for grades 9-12 works with students who have a wide range of learning, mental, emotional and physical disabilities to ensure that lessons and teaching strategies meet the students' needs. The role also includes teaching independent living skills and providing literacy, communication, and math instruction. What You'll Do
- Work with students who have diverse learning, mental, emotional and physical disabilities to tailor lessons and teaching strategies to meet student needs
- Teach independent living skills
- Provide literacy, communication, and math skills instruction What We're Looking For
- State of Ohio Intervention Specialist License
- Ability to work with students with a wide range of disabilities
- Ability to adapt instruction to individual needs
