Job title: Internship – Singapore
About the Role Barbican offers a paid internship program in Singapore for final-year students or fresh graduates who can commit to at least 3 months. The role is hybrid (2–3 days in-office) and includes on-the-ground training with the research team to perform investigative research and due diligence for investors. High-performing interns may be considered for conversion to a full-time role.
What You'll Do
- Participate in on-the-ground training with our research team to conduct in-depth investigative research and due diligence assignments.
- Use specialized databases to identify, assess, retrieve, and contextualize critical open-source information for investors.
- Present findings in clear, analytical writing suitable for a business audience.
- Learn the due diligence process and how to locate information and identify risks.
What We're Looking For
- A university degree, or final-year student; majors in humanities, politics, economics, journalism, and related fields welcomed.
- Strong English-language research and writing skills.
- Fluency in a Southeast Asian language; native or working proficiency in Vietnamese and/or Thai is an advantage.
- Intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and a critical mindset.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise workload, and work under pressure.

Nice to Have
- Experience with open-source research or due diligence tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with investigative research databases.
Compensation & Benefits
- This is a paid internship; duration is at least 3 months with a hybrid schedule (2–3 days in-office) in Singapore. Details regarding compensation will be provided during the application process.
