About the Role Atlas Copco Group offers an Internship in business control designed to introduce students to financial controlling in a large industrial company. The internship involved collaborating with Group Controlling and the Business Support team for an R&D department, assisting with ad-hoc requests and shadowing closing activities, and taking on projects to improve the closing process.
What You'll Do
- Assist with ad-hoc requests and shadowing during closings.
- Take on projects to improve the closing process; for example developing a Power BI report with data queries and measures to streamline reporting during closings.
- Consolidate multiple PowerPoint presentations using Macros to save time.
- Build on existing skills in Power BI and Excel and expand scope to financial reporting processes.
What We're Looking For
- Interest in the financial and business side; pursuing a master’s degree in accounting and financial management or similar.
- Willingness to learn and be curious; not afraid to ask questions; patient in understanding a large industrial company.
- Basic Power BI and Excel skills; data management knowledge.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Power BI and Excel already known going into the program.
- Experience with data management and automations.
